East Bay Convoy Of Hope ®

On Saturday, September 20, 2008, the East Bay Convoy of Hope®, in partnership with local businesses, community agencies, individual volunteers and Calvary Temple Church will once again host an East Bay outreach.
This outreach will be a "carnival-like" event that includes free distribution of approximately 40,000 lbs. of food to approximately 6,000 primarily low income residents who live throughout the Contra Costa and Alameda County areas of the East Bay.
The outreach will also include the following free services:
The outreach will be held at: Rio Vista Elementary School, 611 Pacifica Avenue, Bay Point, Ca 94565. It will open at 10:00 AM and will run until approximately 2:00PM.
The East Bay Convoy of Hope® is affiliated with the national organization called Convoy of Hope®, which is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Springfield, Missouri. Together, our goal is to support and strengthen our local communities by providing basic physical and spiritual resources to low income residents of the East Bay area.
